I am delighted to have the opportunity to give you a little background on Ashwood Apartments, Bord Failte 4 star affordable luxurious self catering accommodation here in the heart of South Donegal indeally located on the fringe of the beautiful old heritage town, Donegal Town.
One of my ambitions, since I became a mum to 3 young children and found out that summer holiday’s took on a whole new meaning, was to provide ‘home from home’ self catering accommodation for the discerning traveller whatever their needs. Through my personal experience of the difficulty in finding exactly what you wanted and needed to ensure a well deserved break for the whole family and where everyone returned home rested and revitalised, rather than hassled and rather let down.
It was in 2005 when my dream came true, to offer travellers to Donegal town the ‘best self catering accommodation’ in the locality at 'Ashwood Apartments'.
I have been delighted to welcome many wonderful guests over the last few years from across Ireland and the United Kingdom as well as further afield, and the most enjoyable and rewarding part of what I do is when they come back again to enjoy a stress-free and relaxing stay.
No two days are ever the same and it is the guests that really make looking after the apartments, preparing for new arrivals and looking after their needs that makes each day important.
It is my pleasure to be able to offer comfortable, relaxing accommodation with a personal touch to ensure every guest has a memorable time from a place where one can speak fondly of when they remember visits to Ireland, Co Donegal, Donegal Town and Ashwood Apartments.
